 340 pages

"Would he understand the message? Would he think it was dirty? No. He said if you love me as much as I love you, it's not dirty. I loved him all the way and that meant nothing was dirty. He wasn't afraid of my germs. He wasn't scared of me sneaking inside him"

All the ugly and wonderful things as the name implies is so many shades of messed up. Like the book is honestly ugly then it gets beautiful further into the book. When I started the book, I was a bit irritated you know. How could he do that to her? She is just an eight year old. But then I really thought about it; there are people on this earth that are going through what she did. This book made me understand that kids will always emulate the things they see their parents do. It made me understand how deep being in love is and its true meaning. It made me understand that I should be grateful at all times for everything and most especially my parents.

If you read this book, please read it with an open mind and do not judge because that is what the mind is trained to do anyway. It is very ugly but it gets outstanding beautiful. What an irony

The only way someone could have written this book is only if the person went through something like this or related to this. Bryn was real. She actually went all out in this book holding nothing back. What I loved about the book is being able to see and feel the pain and love through the words. After I was done with the book, I was irritated, sad, happy, disgusted, torn, annoyed; in fact I felt every emotion there was. If Bryn went through something like this, I would hug her tightly and not let go

There wasn’t any plot. Just a messed up story of a one-worded girl, her brother, her lover and her twisted life with tragic moments but ended with a teary smile.

Kellen, Donal and Wavy were my favorites. They had a weird connection I couldn’t seem to understand.

Have you read this book? I really want to know your thoughts

In conclusion, ATUAWT gets
