REVIEW 014: The Alchemist by Paul Coelho

January 12, 2018

167 pages

“Along the way we should learn to trust out hearts, read the seemingly inconspicuous signs and understand that as we look to fulfil a dream, it looks to find us just the same, if we let it"

The Alchemist is a book that requires you to read with extreme patience. I read this book with a note beside me as I did not want to miss any of the hidden treasures buried beneath the words.

The author - Paul Coehlo - in 167 pages made motivation into a story combined with magic and crystals. I was curious about how he was going to achieve this after I read the introductory part of the book but reading further I found myself nodding and thinking deeply about how I needed to understand the Language of the Earth, Soul of the World and Omens

Paul made me realise the obvious just in a different way. My favourite quote in the book is

"One of life's greatest lessons: When you possess great treasures within you and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed"

I would love to sit down with Paul and hear about his thoughts on an individuals personal legend and how it our maker can help us in achieving it. You know what I think, you should seriously read this book and have a good re-think about your life.

The book contained no chapters but had demarcations within so you do not get lost in Santiagos journey in discovering his hidden treasure.

Just get the book already :D

Have you read this book?

In conclusion, The ALCHEMIST gets
